TGIF! (Thank Goodness it's Fall!!!)

As much as I hate to admit it, I am the living incarnation of the stereotypical Autumn addict. The rest of the year just seems to slowly pass me by, and I wander around aimlessly until one day I wake up and I can just feel it in the air...My skin tingles from the invigorating cool breeze, like quenching a thirst I was unaware I had. Time stands still as I look up and see a solitary leaf falling from above... A harbinger of  things to come. Then I know It's time... Time for inspiration. Time for pumpkins, and apples, and breathtaking colors. I feel this sense of closeness to the universe with every deep breath of autumn filled air.

Yes, I am that person. 

Now save your judgement, and look at some earrings! 

Oh la la! I'm falling in love!

Don't you just love fall colors! I scored these beautiful faceted fire polished rounds from Lima Beads for a total bargain during their dollar days sale! Eeeeeep!

How could you not love these?

Next up, I finally used some of my little acorns! I have been hoarding them for so long! I bought the blue lucite leaves from my local bead store, Beads on the Kennebec! I just love the color!

Baby... I'm nuts for your acorns.

 This next pair was actually a happy accident. I was trying to make some earrings that resembled little trees, and I just wasn't feeling it. So, I started putting random colors together, and BOOM! They are super cute. I may have to keep them for myself...

The next two pairs were fun to make. I wanted to try something new! And I really like the colors!

Labor Day= Studio Day!

Ello!

I hope everyone is feeling somewhat rejuvenated after this weekend. It's always nice to have an extra day off to finish the laundry and make some progress in the studio.

Speaking of...

Sweet Saturday Mornings

Good morning!

I am hoping to be uber-productive this Labor Day weekend. I want to spend at least 8 hours in the studio making pretty things.
And here is a wake-up call from Zelda.

"Oh, i'm sorry, were you sleeping? I totally forgot while I was jumping on your face! Now pay attention to me!"

She is very demanding

I got a picture of her yawning!

"I require sustenance! You, human, have one purpose in life. Now, fill my bowl immediately so I can take 2 bites and scoff at the rest. Then we must go outside, so I can drag you all over the neighborhood in your pajamas, while I search for 1/2 an hour for the one and only place that I may defecate on this fine Saturday morning."

Crunch...Crunch...Crunch...

 Now that the fur-child is all set, it's time to take care of myself. I love this little espresso maker. I got mine on Amazon, but I have seen them for sale at TJ Maxx. I bought the medium sized one, and it's perfect! (About $25 if you wanted to know.)

Fresh out of the studio!

Don't you just love that feeling you get when things just sort of come together with minimal effort? These colors worked so well together, that I didn't even have to think about it. Of course, having such beautiful beads definitely helps. Have I mentioned before how much I love Golem Design Studio? Look at that bead!!! It's stunning!

Studio Lock-in!
